Exceed's History

Exceed Healthcare was established in 2012 to tackle urgent challenges in the healthcare industry. Recognizing a critical shortage of specialized care physicians in the local market, our founding partners saw the impact of this gap: rising costs for healthcare providers, unsatisfactory patient outcomes, prolonged hospital stays, and increased mortality rates. Exceed Healthcare aimed to bridge this gap by improving patient care and optimizing outcomes in critical care settings.

In response, Exceed’s founders developed a training strategy that addressed coverage gaps by integrating skilled Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) into the acute care staffing model.

This approach resulted in improved patient outcomes and high levels of satisfaction among providers, medical staff, and nursing teams.

The success of this strategy led to significant growth in our in-person acute care program and APP training program, which has since evolved into a nationally accredited APP fellowship. Exceed has grown to provide comprehensive multispecialty coverage through in person and virtual care models. Our reach extends further with nationwide consulting and educational services. Our team of highly skilled APPs and physicians delivers a sustainable and adaptable workforce, ready to meet the evolving and unique challenges of the healthcare industry.
